Raising Aspirations - North Belfast
Raising Aspirations North Belfast is a community-based programme delivered in partnership with Ardoyne Youth Club, supporting children and young people aged 4 to 16 across North Belfast.
Funded by The Executive Office through the Communities in Transition initiative, the programme focuses on early intervention, confidence building, and positive progression.
About The Programme
Raising Aspirations North Belfast is designed to empower children and young people growing up in North Belfast by providing consistent, supportive, and positive opportunities from an early age. The programme recognises the importance of early engagement in helping young people build confidence, resilience, and aspiration.
Delivered alongside Ardoyne Youth Club, the programme takes a whole-family and community-focused approach, supporting not only young people but also parents and carers.
The programme offers a wide range of activities including homework clubs, personal development sessions, sport and team-building activities, and social action projects. Young people are supported through bespoke mentoring tailored to their individual needs.
Parent support workshops are also delivered as part of the programme, helping families feel more confident in supporting their children’s development, learning, and wellbeing.
