Resilient Futures
Resilient Futures is a support and employability programme for young refugees and asylum seekers aged 16 to 25, funded by The National Lottery Strengthening Communities Fund.
The programme provides practical support, safe spaces, and opportunities to help young people settle, connect, and move forward with confidence.
About The Programme
Resilient Futures is designed to support young refugees and asylum seekers as they build new lives within their communities. Delivered by BCT NI, the programme offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where young people feel safe, respected, and supported.
The programme focuses on integration, wellbeing, and confidence building, recognising the challenges young people may face when navigating a new culture, systems, and opportunities.
Participants receive practical advice, mentoring, and employability support alongside access to vocational training and skills development. Workshops focus on understanding education and employment pathways, building workplace confidence, and preparing for future opportunities.
Through shared activities and community connection, Resilient Futures supports young people to develop skills, build relationships, and take positive steps towards training, employment, and longer-term stability.
